Cause and Effect Game – Reading ELA

Use the Smartboard along with this cross curricular activity to practice the skill of cause and effect through reading a story on photosynthesis. The cause is a reason something happens, while the effect is what happens as a result.

Directions: Read the story “How Plants Feed Themselves.” Click on the blue underlined vocabulary words to read a definition. Next, choose the student who best describes how photosynthesis works.
