Latitude and Longitude Game – Social Studies

Students can practice finding latitude and longitude on the Smartboard in this interactive game. We use latitude and longitude to locate points on the surface of the Earth. Latitude is measured from the equator, with positive values going north and negative values going south. Longitude is measured from the Prime Meridian (Greenwich, England), with positive values going east and negative values going west.
