Benchmarking Fractions with 1/2 Game – Math

Round and estimate fractions using 1/2 on the Smartboard. Fractions and mixed numbers are rounded up or down using 1/2. If a fraction is less than 1/2, round to 0. If a fraction is 1/2 or greater, round up to 1. Use 1/2 of the denominator to benchmark to 1/2.

Directions: Use the Smartboard to select more than 1/2, less than 1/2 or equal to 1/2. The fractions move quicker as the time increases. Play
